Patient Care Coordinator

I have worked with Dr. Afifi for over 20 years, scheduling appointments, presenting treatments to patients, processing insurance claims, and being a patient advocate with insurance companies. It is great to see our patients improve their dental health with our help, and most gratifying to see their happy smiles. Dr. Afifi truly cares for his patients and loves his job. He takes time to listen and loves educating his patients. I am married with two daughters and one dog. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, skiing, traveling, and volunteering.

Front Office

I work in our front office, assisting patients by scheduling appointments, processing insurance, taking care of accounts, and anything else I can do to make our office run smoothly. I have been with Dr. Afifi’s office since 1998 and in the dental field since 1982. I like working with Dr. Afifi because he always strives to provide the best possible dental care for his patients. In addition, our staff fosters the team approach to patient care. My husband and I have been together since 1983. We have two large shepherd/retriever mix dogs. I enjoy working out, reading, needlepoint, puzzling, and of course, spending time with my husband and dogs. I also teach dental assisting and dental hygiene classes at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland.

Dental Hygienist

In addition to helping maintain our patients’ oral health through regular cleanings and evaluating and educating patients on good oral hygiene, I also have extensive training in periodontal care and am licensed to administer anesthetic and nitrous oxide. I receive great satisfaction in educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene. As a result, I get to see the improvement of their oral health from good home care and treatment done in our office. Dr. Afifi strives to further his education so he can give his patients the best care possible. He motivates his employees to do their best at all times. I am married to my husband, Nat, and we have a son named Austin. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping, running, practicing yoga, and cycling.

Dental Assistant

I assist Dr. Afifi with many patient procedures, help with IV sedation, and prepare rooms for patients. I enjoy meeting new people every day and helping them meet their dental goals. Dr. Afifi is very detail-oriented, which makes him an excellent dentist! Outside the office, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also travel whenever I get the chance.
